1. Project status and contact

Haluande is currently a private pre-launch software project; no company has yet been formed for its public operation. For questions about this notice or data protection, contact [email protected].

Before public launch, this page will be updated with the controller’s full legal name, postal address, the responsible supervisory authority and, where applicable, data-protection officer details.

2. What the public website processes

When you visit the public website, the hosting and security infrastructure may process technical connection data needed to deliver and protect the site. This can include IP address, date and time of access, requested page, referrer, browser or device information, and server-log data.

We do not use advertising trackers, behavioural analytics or marketing cookies on the public landing page. The public site does not offer a contact form or newsletter signup.

3. Pre-release accounts and testing access

If a pre-release account or testing access is made available, we may process the data needed to provide and secure that access: email address, display name, account status, password verifier, session information, security events and limited account or licence metadata. This is used to authenticate users, maintain account security, provide requested access and investigate misuse or technical problems.

Where a test workspace is used, information entered by the authorised tester may also be processed to provide that testing environment. Do not enter real-world sensitive or confidential data during this stage.

4. Local-first product design

Haluande is designed so that day-to-day operational information can remain in a customer’s own local environment. The online layer is intended for platform-support functions such as accounts, licences, entitlement checks and updates. It is not intended to be the default storage location for everyday operational records.

5. Legal bases and purposes

Where GDPR applies, processing for requested pre-release access or account functions is intended to rely on the steps necessary to provide that access (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Processing for security, abuse prevention, diagnostics and reliable operation is intended to rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). A final legal-basis assessment will be completed before public launch.

6. Service providers and transfers

Data may be processed by infrastructure providers that operate hosting, security or content-delivery services for this website, including Cloudflare where active for the Haluande domain. We do not sell personal data. The final public notice will identify the applicable providers, locations and any safeguards for transfers outside the EEA.

7. Cookies

The public landing page does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If you sign in to a restricted portal or test area, a strictly necessary session cookie may be used to keep the authenticated session secure. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

8. Retention

Because Haluande is pre-launch, no final production retention schedule is in force. Technical logs, test accounts and test-workspace data are kept only for as long as reasonably needed for development, security and testing, then deleted or anonymised where appropriate. The final notice will state specific retention periods and deletion rules before public launch.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority. To make a request, email [email protected].

10. Updates to this notice

This notice will change as the project moves from development to public operation. Material changes, including the controller identity, hosting details, retention schedule and final legal bases, will be published here before public commercial launch.
